December 31, 2024… the last day of 2024, and the last day of Blogmas. And I can’t stop myself from thinking about the beginning…

June 29, 2024… my first post on this blog.

In some ways, it feels like it has been forever. And on the other hand, like no time has passed at all.

When I look back on this year, I can’t help but feel thankful.

I never really thought I would start a blog, let alone be brave enough to post my own writing. There is a vulnerability in sharing your work—the panic that no one will like it, that you’ll simply be screaming into the void and nothing will come of it. Each time I hit that publish button, a part of me wonders if this will be my last time.

But then I think of the few people here and in my real life who tell me to keep going, to keep pushing, to recognize how far I have come. It reminds me of why I started this in the first place—to share my work, to make the people in my head come to life, and to hope that, in the process, it resonates with a few others.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported my work, whether that’s been just recently or since day one. You truly have no idea what it means to this small-town girl with big dreams.

In the new year, I hope to complete my first book (that’s just insane to even be saying!) and start working on the second in the series. We have a long way to go, and I hope you’ll continue to stick around for that. 2025… you’re going to be a good year. I can feel it!

I’m Morgan

Nice to virtually meet you!

Welcome to my blog.

This is a space where I share my work, discuss the trials and tribulations of writing, and celebrate the art of bringing a world to life with a pen and paper (or in this case a keyboard and a screen). It is a place filled with typos and awkward sentences, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you stay awhile.

If you like what you see, I also have an Instagram account (linked below) if you’re interested! Come give me a follow 🙂
