Writing Update

Hello everyone!

For those of you following me on Instagram, this may not be news—but for the rest of you, I have something incredibly exciting to share!

Holy heckeroni and cheese, someone pinch me…

This journey has been absolutely amazing, and I can’t thank everyone enough for your support. I am so proud of this accomplishment, yet at the same time, absolutely freaking terrified.

Typing those last words felt surreal. I didn’t know exactly what I expected to feel, or even how I knew it was over, but somehow, it just felt right. And then came the terrifying realization: what now?

I love writing on this blog and sharing my stories with all of you in this small corner of the internet. And don’t worry—I’ll still be posting chapters here. You’re not getting rid of me that easily. But ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of holding my own book in my hands. So, I started looking into publishing options… and immediately felt overwhelmed. Again.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to self-publish this book. Yes, you heard me right—THIS book. The Darkest Depths.

Now, you might be wondering: Why would I buy a book from this small unknown author whose blog I follow? Fair question. Honestly? I don’t expect anyone to. This is something I’m doing for me—to cross a lifelong dream off my bucket list. There’s a difference between reading words on a screen and holding a physical book in your hands. And that’s what matters to me.

For those interested, I’ll be releasing an Amazon eBook version with a more polished draft—including updated scenes, better grammar, and fewer typos (though there will probably be some as I am self-editing). If you’d like to support me in that way, that would be amazing.

I’m also planning a physical version, though I haven’t quite figured out the logistics yet. Right now, physical copies will likely be a limited run for close friends and family—but who knows? Plans can change! If you’d prefer a physical book over an eBook, let me know in the comments below.

No release date schedule yet, but my hope is to have it released (finger’s crossed) by the end of this year!

Oh, and did I mentioned that I’ve officially accepted a bid for a cover design! Once it’s finalized, I’ll be sharing it with you all. If you want more timely updates on these big moments, follow me on Instagram!

And because I clearly don’t know how to take a break… I’ve already started working on Book 2 which I have lovingly named…. Untitled Story (IYKYK). Yep, I’m diving right back in! I can’t say too much just yet, but trust me, I have so many exciting things planned, and I can’t wait to bring you all along for the ride.
