Pick Your Poison

Staying at home is nice. You can sleep, relax, not care about anything going on in the outside world. Politics, global warming, the asteroid hurtling towards the Earth at breakneck speeds. None of that matters when I’m curled in the warm and comforting embrace of my bedroom sheets.

Besides, being outside is dangerous. It’s hot out there. And UV rays can cause skin cancer, sun burn… or, there’s a chance of getting heat exhaustion/stroke.

There are dangers to staying inside though… Vitamin D deficiency. Social isolation. Having skin so pale people think you’re a sick Victorian child…

Life really is about picking your poison.

But whether I choose to stay inside or go outside doesn’t affect anyone but myself.

So, why does my poison matter to you?

This is not a post about staying inside.

I’m Morgan

Nice to virtually meet you!

Welcome to my blog.

This is a space where I share my work, discuss the trials and tribulations of writing, and celebrate the art of bringing a world to life with a pen and paper (or in this case a keyboard and a screen). It is a place filled with typos and awkward sentences, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you stay awhile.

If you like what you see, I also have an Instagram account (linked below) if you’re interested! Come give me a follow 🙂
